LMT New Zealand Reference Rifle

LMT New Zealand Reference Rifle

Original price was: $3,349.00.Current price is: $3,149.99.

This is the closest you can get to the true New Zealand MARS-L rifle, which includes: metric flip-up sights, bayonet lug, Surefire Warcomp flash hider, and Magpul windowed magazine. Of course, this rifle utilizes the patented LMT Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receiver, the only AR-15 upper that incorporates the handguard and receiver as one component. This state-of-the-art design is CNC machined from a single piece of forged aerospace aluminum resulting in benefits and functionality unmatched in the industry. Integrating this upper receiver with an MRP barrel creates an incredibly simplistic modular platform in which the barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system utilizing two locking bolts on the right side of the receiver. Barrel swaps and caliber changes are easily completed in a few minutes with only a T-30 Torx bit and torque wrench (a factory pre-set torque wrench is available). Additionally, since the handguard is integral to the receiver you will not experience shifts in point of impact while using aiming devices that are attached directly to the handguard. Nor will you need to purchase expensive cantilever optic mounts.

The CQB carbine length upper receiver has 16.25” of uninterrupted 1913 picatinny rail at the 12 o’clock position while providing 8″ of rail at 3 and 9 o’clock, and 7″ at 6 o’clock.

The MARS lower receiver features LMT’s EDM machined two-stage trigger, winter trigger guard, endplate with QD swivel point, ergonomic textured grip, and SOPMOD stock. As with all LMT lower receivers, the extension tube is coated with dry film lubricant.

This weapon system comes complete with metric flip-up sights, tactical two point sling, 2 QD sling swivels, 3 rail panel covers, Magpul windowed 5.56 30rd magazine, torque wrench, and owner’s manual.

All LMT firearms can also be purchased with select-fire configuration for use by qualified agencies.
